Harry Kane has added another major individual honour to his collection after being confirmed as Europe’s leading scorer for the 2025/26 campaign. The Bayern Munich striker claimed the Golden Shoe for the second time, successfully defending the award he first won in 2024.
The England captain reached the milestone thanks to his 36 Bundesliga goals, equalling the total he recorded two seasons earlier. His achievement places him among a distinguished group of players to have won the prize more than once, including Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The presentation ceremony took place at the FC Bayern Museum just minutes ago, marking another significant moment in Kane’s career since joining the German giants.
Bayern’s senior leadership, including Herbert Hainer and Jan-Christian Dreesen, paid tribute to the striker’s influence on and off the pitch. Club officials highlighted his leadership qualities as well as his tactical intelligence following another outstanding year.
Kane’s numbers across the season further underlined his impact. The 33-year-old registered 73 goals in 65 appearances for club and country, continuing a remarkable run of form.
By reaching that figure, Kane becomes only the third Bayern player to accomplish the feat. He joins club greats Gerd Müller and Robert Lewandowski in achieving the milestone.
The latest Golden Shoe success adds another chapter to Kane’s impressive record, with the Bayern forward once again finishing as Europe’s top scorer after matching his Bundesliga tally of 36 goals from two seasons ago.
