RB Leipzig have rejected a €100 million offer from Liverpool for Yan Diomandé, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Bundesliga club are still trying to keep the player and currently value him at more than €100 million.
Romano reports that a fee of around €120 million could be required to advance negotiations, although Leipzig’s position may also be influenced by Diomandé’s performances at the World Cup.
Liverpool remain interested in the player, but their opening proposal has not been enough to convince Leipzig to sell.
Leipzig are also expecting further interest, with Paris Saint-Germain and other clubs potentially entering the race for the highly-rated attacker.
The latest development was first reported by Philipp Hinze and later confirmed by Romano.
