Manchester City are preparing a new official bid for Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson, according to Fabrizio Romano.
City remain confident of completing the deal after leading the race for the player since March.
Manchester United are still interested in Anderson, but City are currently ahead in the pursuit and optimistic about reaching an agreement with Nottingham Forest.
