Real Madrid have denied making any contact over a possible move for Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise.
The Spanish club issued a statement in response to reports linking them with the France international.
Real Madrid said they have not had direct or indirect contact with Olise, his representatives or anyone in his entourage.
The club also stressed its strong relationship with Bayern Munich and said it regretted speculation that did not reflect reality.
Real Madrid said both clubs have a relationship based on trust and mutual respect.
The statement added that any potential interest in a player belonging to the other club should first be dealt with between the clubs themselves.
