The move would follow a record-breaking summer for Liverpool, who signed Alexander Isak from Newcastle United for a British-record £125m, as noted by BBC Sport.
Jurgen Klopp’s side also invested heavily in Hugo Ekitike, Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong, and Milos Kerkez — a sharp contrast to their quiet previous window.
With Mohamed Salah form dipping and age becoming a factor, Liverpool are reportedly considering Olise as a long-term attacking successor.

The Frenchman impressed during his previous spell in the Premier League with Crystal Palace and could be tempted by a return to England.
If completed, the deal would underline Liverpool’s growing financial power and ambition to remain competitive at the top of English football.
