A London bus driver has lost his job after Chelsea fans mobbed him for wearing a Liverpool shirt while on duty.
Isaac, who declined to give his full name, was driving a rail replacement bus after Chelsea’s 2-1 win over Liverpool at Stamford Bridge when supporters surrounded his vehicle in a now-viral clip.

The match had ended dramatically with 18-year-old Estevao Willian scoring a stoppage-time winner for the Blues sealing a third straight defeat for Arne Slot’s side.
Speaking to TalkTV, Isaac said the moment “looked humorous” online but was actually “scary.” He added: “They literally surrounded me in the bus… Eventually, the police got them away.”

Isaac claimed he was later dismissed by A1 Transport Recruitment for breaching uniform policy. “On Monday morning, my agency sent an email… saying I’d be dismissed due to a uniform policy,” he said.
He also criticised Transport for London, saying: “There’s no common sense at TfL these days… Nobody had a problem with it, nobody told me to cover it up.”
The viral incident came a week after another clip showed a Crystal Palace fan blocking Liverpool’s team bus by tying his shoelaces in front of it.
Chelsea face Nottingham Forest on October 18, while Liverpool host Manchester United the following day.
