Bayern Munich endured a challenging summer window after losing key players Thomas Muller, Leroy Sane and Kingsley Coman, forcing them to bring in Luis Diaz and Nicolas Jackson on loan to fill the attacking gaps.

Coman, who joined Bayern in 2015 and made 339 appearances with 72 goals, moved to Al Nassr despite Vincent Kompany wanting him to stay.
Speaking to L’Equipe, Coman said: “At the very end of the transfer, there were things which I won’t mention that complicated the situation. I wasn’t pushed out, but I was told that the club was open to a departure due to its financial situation.”
He added: “I had the love of the coach, the fans, some people on the board… but not everyone. There was a part of the club that wanted me to leave. And that part took up a lot of space in my mind. But I’m going to come back to say my goodbyes.”

The French winger confirmed that Al Nassr’s offer arrived unexpectedly late in the window. “At the start of the transfer window, I saw myself playing one more season at Bayern. In the end, Al-Nassr were interested in my situation, and the transfer was completed in five days,” he told L’Equipe.
[Le Parisien reports] Coman also received interest from clubs in England and Spain but said he only felt “like an option” elsewhere. “If I took into account my family situation, the finances, and the sporting project, Bayern offered the best conditions in Europe,” he explained.

Coman has quickly adapted to life in Saudi Arabia, scoring three goals and providing five assists in nine appearances for Al Nassr.
