Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana has made a bright start to life on loan at Turkish side Trabzonspor.

[The Sun reports] the club are now eager to sign him permanently after being impressed with his early performances.

Trabzonspor took Onana on loan without an option or obligation to buy but agreed to cover his full £120,000-a-week salary.

The move came after the arrival of Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp, which effectively ended Onana’s United career.

Signed from Inter Milan, his time at Old Trafford was marred by errors, but his form in Turkey could boost interest from other European clubs and help United secure a decent transfer fee.
