Joe Cole has backed Arsenal as one of the clubs capable of winning the Champions League this season after their strong start in Europe.

The Gunners, who reached the semi-finals last term, opened their campaign with a hard-fought win over Athletic Club despite missing several key players.
Mikel Arteta’s side have been boosted by summer additions and now boast the depth needed to challenge Europe’s elite, with expectations continuing to rise around the Emirates.
Speaking on TNT Sports as reported by Metro Sports, Cole said: “Bayern Munich have got quality, I don’t think they have got the depth Barcelona have got. I think Bayern Munich are just in that second bracket behind PSG, Real Madrid, this Barcelona, and maybe Arsenal and Liverpool.”
