Marc Guehi has confirmed he will leave Crystal Palace, with the England defender attracting interest from Newcastle United and Real Madrid.
The 24-year-old’s contract expires in 2026, but Palace boss Oliver Glasner revealed the player has made his intentions clear.
“Marc has already told us that he won’t sign a new contract, so he will leave next year,” Glasner said ahead of the Bournemouth clash. “The club wanted him to stay. They offered Marc a new contract. But he said, ‘No, I want to make something different’. And that’s normal.”
[According to iNews], Palace are considering selling Guehi in January, with both Madrid and Barcelona monitoring his situation.
Newcastle remain interested despite missing out on him to Liverpool on deadline day, though their wage structure could make a deal difficult.
Reports suggest Guehi is keen on a move to Spain, leaving Palace facing the prospect of losing one of their key players either in January or at the end of the season.
