Former Tottenham and Manchester United defender Sergio Reguilon is finalising terms with Inter Miami ahead of a move to the MLS side.
The 28-year-old has agreed to join the franchise co-owned by David Beckham and captained by Lionel Messi, with confirmation of a two-year deal expected soon.

Reguilon is set to replace Jordi Alba, who announced his retirement alongside close friend and former Barcelona teammate Sergio Busquets.
Alba, 36, shared his decision on Instagram, saying: “The time has come to close a truly meaningful chapter of my life… I feel I’ve walked this path with every ounce of passion I had.”
He added: “Thank you to all the fans for your kindness, you taught me that the shirt isn’t just worn, it’s felt.”

The left-back spent 11 seasons at Barcelona, winning six LaLiga titles and a Champions League before joining Inter Miami in 2023.
Busquets, 37, also confirmed his retirement last month, writing: “I feel it’s time to say goodbye to my career as a professional footballer.”
He made 722 appearances for Barcelona and is the player who has featured alongside Messi the most 640 times across both clubs.

With both Busquets and Alba departing, Beckham and his board are working to identify two new transfer targets to strengthen Miami’s squad for next year.
