Eintracht Frankfurt has appointed Albert Riera as its new head coach. The 43-year-old Spaniard signed a contract with the Bundesliga club running until the summer of 2028.
Riera joins from Slovenian club Celje, where he had been manager since July 2024. His work there earned recognition for his tactical approach and team-building skills.
Eintracht currently sits 8th in the Bundesliga with 27 points from 19 matches. The club hopes Riera can guide the team into the top half of the table and challenge for a European qualification spot.
