Barcelona have agreed a deal to bring in highly-rated 19-year-old Uruguayan left-back Patricio Pacifico from Defensor Sporting, according to Fabrizio Romano.
“Loan deal with €1.8m buy option clause plus add-ons, could become mandatory under certain conditions.”
Romano adds that, “Pacifico will start joining Barça B.”
The signing shows Barcelona’s continued focus on acquiring talented young players to strengthen their youth system and secure the club’s future, following the same approach used with Ronald Araujo and Pedri.
