Harry Maguire has hailed Michael Carrick and the tactical framework he’s implementing at Manchester United for Casemiro’s significant upturn in form.
“I always say, as a footballer, if the structure is right you can perform, and you can look a good player but the structure’s got to be right around you,” the United centre-back said.
“I think with Case as well, I think we’ve seen over the last couple of games when the structure’s good around Case, he’s still a magnificent central midfielder.”
Even after confirming he will leave at the end of the season, Casemiro has rediscovered top form, re-establishing himself as one of United’s key figures under interim manager Carrick.
