The FIFA World Cup trophy will be on display in Kansas City as part of an official tour ahead of the 2026 tournament.
FIFA confirmed the trophy will visit 38 cities across the United States, Mexico and Canada before the World Cup final on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
Kansas City, which will host six matches during the tournament, is scheduled to receive the trophy on April 18 and 19.
The North American tour begins in Mexico City on February 26 before moving through several Mexican cities. The United States and Canada leg starts on March 24 in Los Angeles.
FIFA said the U.S. tour will feature interactive experiences and close-up access to the trophy, though specific display locations have not yet been announced.
The current World Cup trophy was first awarded in 1974 and was last lifted by Argentina at the 2022 tournament.
