Liverpool have recalled young midfielder James McConnell from his loan at Ajax after all parties agreed to end the deal early.
The 21-year-old had not featured for Ajax since early January. He made just seven appearances during his time in the Eredivisie.
McConnell will now return to Merseyside and rejoin Arne Slot’s squad as Liverpool push for a strong finish to the season.
