Liverpool have completed the medical for Rennes centre-back Jeremy Jacquet ahead of a summer move to Anfield, according to reports.
The 20-year-old is set to remain with Rennes for the rest of the 2025/26 season before joining Liverpool, with the clubs agreeing a deal worth around £60 million, including £55 million paid upfront.
While the transfer is expected to be confirmed today, the move is planned for the 2026/27 campaign, allowing Jacquet to finish the season in Ligue 1.
Liverpool beat competition from Chelsea to secure the highly-rated defender, viewed as one of the standout young centre-backs in Europe.
