Benfica goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin has been named in the UEFA Champions League Team of the Week following the final round of the group stage.
Trubin earned the recognition after scoring a decisive stoppage-time goal in Benfica’s 4-2 win over Real Madrid, a result that secured both victory and qualification for the knockout stages.
The Ukrainian goalkeeper’s late strike proved crucial in sealing Benfica’s place in the next round.
Other players included in the Matchday 8 Team of the Week were Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister, Tottenham defender Cristian Romero, and Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal.
