Didier Deschamps has named four Serie A players in his latest France squad as Les Bleus prepare for World Cup qualifiers against Ukraine and Iceland this September.
France Squad Includes Serie A Talent
Inter striker Marcus Thuram keeps his place up front, while Mike Maignan of AC Milan continues as a key goalkeeping option. Midfield depth is boosted with Khephren Thuram from Juventus and Manu Koné, who has impressed at Roma.
Alongside them, French fans will also recognize familiar faces with Serie A connections. Adrien Rabiot, formerly of Juventus and now at Marseille, has been linked with a potential reunion with Massimiliano Allegri at Milan. Meanwhile, ex-Milan defender Theo Hernández, now at Al-Hilal, also features.
Upcoming Fixtures
Les Bleus open their World Cup qualifying campaign against Ukraine in Wrocław, Poland, on September 5, followed by a home clash at the Parc des Princes against Iceland on September 9. France are drawn in a four-team group that also includes Azerbaijan.
