Cristiano Ronaldo has unveiled a bold new look, returning to Al-Nassr training with a freshly shaved head and a warrior-like presence in Riyadh this week.

The 40-year-old superstar shared his new haircut on Instagram, sporting a military-style buzzcut reminiscent of his Juventus days in 2020. Known for reinventing both his game and style, Ronaldo will hope the latest change ushers in another chapter of success.

Ronaldo’s week with Portugal was a mixed one he missed a penalty in their 1–0 win over Ireland but roared back with a brace in a 2–2 draw against Hungary. His first strike saw him surpass Carlos Ruiz as the top scorer in World Cup qualifying history with 40 goals, before extending that record to 41 by halftime.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner now boasts 143 international goals and an astonishing 947 across his career for club and country. Each match adds another milestone to an already unmatched legacy.

Beyond the pitch, Ronaldo’s influence continues to soar. His $280 million-a-year deal with Al-Nassr makes him the world’s highest-paid footballer, while his CR7 brand spans fragrances, hotels, and fitness ventures turning every haircut or Instagram post into a global headline.

Speculation also continues around a future Manchester United return in a non-playing role. Former United defender Danny Simpson told GOAL that such a reunion “shouldn’t be ruled out.”

“I wouldn’t say no,” Simpson said. “If you look at his mentality, he obviously cares about the club. I think he’d like to come back again, but in another way to make United great again, maybe in a decision-making role.”

Ronaldo, who won his first Ballon d’Or and Champions League with United, could yet write another chapter in the club’s story this time off the pitch.

For now, his focus remains firmly on Al-Nassr, as he prepares to lead the line against Al-Fateh this weekend. The Saudi side have made a perfect start to the season, and their captain shows no signs of slowing down on or off the field.
