Arsenal’s hierarchy has welcomed a new figure with strong Hollywood ties, as Emmy-winning producer Ben Winston joins the club’s leadership following a boardroom reshuffle.
Winston, 43, has been added to the Gunners’ structure after long-time advisor Tim Lewis stepped aside, allowing Josh Kroenke to take a firmer role in day-to-day operations.

The Telegraph reports that Winston’s connection with Tom Cruise grew out of a bold pitch for the Olympic closing ceremony, where he suggested a Mission: Impossible-style stunt to promote the 2028 Los Angeles Games.
Cruise agreed to the plan with one condition. The Hollywood star performed the roof dive at the Stade de France himself, rehearsing for four days without a stunt double.
Winston also built a strong relationship with James Corden during their time on The Late Late Show. He created the now-famous “Carpool Karaoke” concept after working with Corden on BBC’s When Corden Met Barlow.
Speaking about the idea, Corden said: “Ben Winston and I always thought there was something very joyful about someone very, very famous singing their songs in an ordinary situation. We just had this idea: Los Angeles, traffic, the carpool lane maybe this is something we could pull off.”
