Arsenal went three points clear at the top of the Premier League after Leandro Trossard’s second-half strike sealed a narrow 1–0 victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage.
The breakthrough came from another trademark Arsenal set-piece, as Gabriel flicked on Bukayo Saka’s corner and Trossard bundled home at the far post.
It marked Arsenal’s 50th goal from a corner since the start of the 2022/23 season the most in the Premier League, with no other side managing more than 34.
Fulham, who had taken four points from the previous two meetings between the sides at Craven Cottage, were well organised but lacked cutting edge in attack. Harry Wilson squandered their best chance to equalise.
At the other end, Viktor Gyokeres endured a frustrating afternoon, denied twice by Bernd Leno before missing another good opportunity.
Arsenal briefly thought they had won a penalty when Saka was fouled, but the decision was overturned following a VAR review.
Trossard’s goal ultimately proved decisive, with Saka shining in attack while Gabriel and William Saliba marshalled a defence that claimed its fifth clean sheet of the season.
Liverpool can reduce the gap to one point at Anfield on Sunday, but for now, Arsenal hold the early edge in the title race as Fulham slump to a third straight defeat.
