PSG struggled to break down Auxerre until the 79th minute, when Bradley Barcola converted a brilliant pass from Ousmane Dembele to secure a 1-0 win.
After the game, manager Luis Enrique acknowledged the challenges posed by his limited squad.
“We did what we could. We didn’t have any midfielders,” Enrique said. “We played with 4 forwards, it wasn’t the best for the team’s balance. But no matter what, we must control the match.”
