Sergio Ramos is moving closer to becoming an owner of Sevilla after reaching a preliminary agreement with a reference shareholder group to purchase the club.
The former Sevilla defender has entered an exclusivity and due diligence period, which will allow the parties to work towards completing a potential takeover.
Ramos, who first joined the club in 1996 and returned in 2023, will have three months alongside the investment group to examine Sevilla’s financial position, as Carrusel report.
Sevilla currently sit 11th in La Liga.
