Vinicius Jr was left incensed by the whistling and boos he received from sections of the Real Madrid crowd during the 2–0 win over Levante.
[ElPeriodico reports] the Brazilian winger was deeply affected by the treatment he endured in the match, as well as similar reactions from fans earlier this season.
Vinicius’ response to the atmosphere was described as a feeling of not wanting to “play in a place where I’m not welcome.”
The report adds that the situation could have consequences for his contract renewal talks with Real Madrid, with the forward potentially forced to consider a move away in the summer.
Despite the tension, Vinicius has contributed five goals and five assists in 20 La Liga matches during the 2025–26 season so far.
