Marcus Rashford’s Barcelona spell is already under serious doubt. Less than two months into his loan, the Spanish champions are weighing up an early exit for the Manchester United forward.
The England international, signed on a season-long deal in July, has failed to convince in his early La Liga outings.

Rashford officially joined Barcelona on loan in July, with registration completed the following month. His move came after Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim exiled him alongside Jadon Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia.
The 27-year-old featured in Barca’s opening three league games but struggled for impact. On August 23, against Levante, he was taken off at half-time with his side trailing 2-0. Although Barcelona went on to seal a 3-2 comeback, Rashford’s lack of spark was noted.
According to El Nacional, Barcelona chiefs are now considering cutting his loan short. They fear his “lost” performances could harm the team’s balance.
Despite club concerns, Rashford retains faith from the England setup. Manager Thomas Tuchel has included him in the squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Andorra and Serbia.

That backing offers the forward a chance to rediscover form with his national team before returning to Spain.
Rashford is set to feature for England against Andorra at Villa Park on Saturday. His next chance to impress Barcelona will come on September 14 when Hansi Flick’s men face Valencia at home.
Barca have taken seven points from their first three league games, but the question remains: will Rashford still be part of their plans when the season moves forward?
