Barcelona defeated Real Oviedo 3-0 at Camp Nou to return to the top of La Liga.
Dani Olmo opened the scoring in the 55th minute after Oviedo were caught playing out from the back. Five minutes later, Raphinha doubled the lead following a backpass error. Lamine Yamal added a third with a volley in the 73rd minute.
Oviedo started strongly and had early chances, including an effort that flashed just past the post shortly after the half-hour mark. The match was interrupted several times by free-kicks and injuries, which affected the flow of play.
Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha also went close in the first half, with Lewandowski flagged offside and Raphinha’s volley saved by Oviedo goalkeeper Aaron Escandell.
