Arbeloa praises Vinícius Jr after Villarreal win

Real Madrid head coach Álvaro Arbeloa praised Vinícius Júnior after the winger’s standout display in a 2-0 La Liga victory away to Villarreal at the Estadio de la Cerámica.

Speaking after the match, Arbeloa highlighted Vinícius as a key attacking weapon and stressed the importance of building the team’s play around him.

“We are seeing a great Vinícius,” Arbeloa said. “We must take advantage of him and create situations for him to get one-on-ones and produce the actions he showed throughout the game.”

The Madrid coach underlined the Brazilian’s value beyond just attacking output, pointing to his overall contribution.

“It’s a huge privilege to have him and to see the work he does for the team,” Arbeloa added.

Arbeloa also reflected on the overall team performance against a strong Villarreal side, describing the match as one of the hardest away fixtures in the league.

“The commitment of the players is undeniable,” he said. “This was one of the toughest away games, against a great team and a fantastic coach.”

Despite limited training time in recent weeks, Arbeloa expressed satisfaction with the team’s foundation.

“We’ve had very few proper training sessions,” he explained. “There’s still room for improvement, but we’re starting from a place of great solidity and collective effort.”

The win keeps Real Madrid firmly in the La Liga title race as they continue to build momentum.
