Work on Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez’s potential retirement home in Portugal is now complete, with the €25 million (£22m/$30m) mansion boasting a spa, private cinema, and Atlantic Ocean views.
Construction began in 2020 and has taken nearly six years. Keys are reportedly ready to be handed over, though it remains unclear if the couple will move in.
Semana reports the property is among the most expensive and largest private homes in Portugal, sitting on a 12,000-square-metre plot in Cascais, with 5,000 square metres of living space.
“The quality of its materials and the level of personalisation” make the mansion “a highly distinctive property within the Portuguese real estate market,” Semana adds.
Reports suggest Ronaldo is already looking for a buyer, amid concerns over privacy and denied attempts to buy adjoining land. V+ Fama claims Ronaldo “could host his wedding to Georgina Rodriguez at the property” before selling.
The mansion includes “two swimming pools, a garage designed to house up to 20 cars, and sumptuously finished interiors,” with amenities such as a gym, spa, private cinema, and extensive gardens.
Ronaldo and Georgina reportedly created “a home centred on comfort and wellbeing, with interiors finished in refined materials and complemented by bespoke elements,” combining contemporary architecture with privacy and scenic views.
The property was intended as a base for Ronaldo’s post-football life and personal brand management, but it seems the couple may ultimately pass ownership to another buyer.
Luxury touches include Italian marble, solid gold faucets, and a custom Louis Vuitton mural, underscoring the lavish scale of the project.
Despite their investment, Ronaldo and Georgina may seek privacy, wellbeing, and family stability elsewhere, leaving the mansion to attract a new owner.
