Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta does not believe Bukayo Saka‘s late injury is serious, despite the winger being ruled out of today’s 4-0 win over Leeds United just before kick-off.
“We don’t know yet. He had a little niggle in the warm-up,” Arteta told the BBC when asked about the severity of the issue.
Noni Madueke replaced Saka in the starting lineup and made an immediate impact, contributing to Arsenal’s first two goals in the emphatic victory at Elland Road.
“You have to be thrown out there when you least expect it, and he reacted really well,” Arteta added regarding Madueke’s performance.
