Barcelona are expanding their global hunt for top young talent, with 16-year-old Brazilian winger Eduardo Conceicao now on their radar [SPORT reports].
The Palmeiras youth prospect, born December 7, 2009, is known for his technical skill, one-on-one dribbling, and attacking instincts, marking him as one of Brazil’s most promising talents in his age group.
Barcelona’s interest is serious. Conceicao’s representatives visited the club’s Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper in December for talks with head scout Joao Amaral and sporting director Deco.
The meetings confirmed that Barcelona see Conceicao as a long-term project rather than an immediate signing.
Any transfer is still years away due to FIFA rules, which prevent moves to Europe until he turns 18 in January 2028. Conceicao is under contract at Palmeiras until 2029, protected by a €100 million release clause.
