Casemiro has confirmed he will leave Manchester United at the end of the season, with his contract at Old Trafford set to expire.
The 33-year-old Brazilian announced the decision in a video posted on social media, marking the end of his fourth season at the club following his move from Real Madrid.
“Knowing when a chapter comes to an end. Knowing when to say goodbye, especially when you feel you’ll always be remembered and respected,” Casemiro wrote.
“Four more months to give everything for this badge and for our goal. My respect and affection for Manchester United and its wonderful fans will last forever. Forever a Red Devil.”
Since arriving at United, Casemiro has made 146 appearances in all competitions, scoring 21 goals and providing 12 assists.
