Bayern Munich are increasingly confident Harry Kane will remain at the club beyond next summer, with his wife Kate reportedly playing a key role in that decision.

The England captain has fired Vincent Kompany’s Bayern to 13 straight wins to start the 2025–26 campaign, scoring 20 goals across all competitions.

Kane leads the Bundesliga scoring charts with 12 goals in eight games, while Bayern also top their Champions League group after wins over Chelsea, Pafos and Club Brugge.

[BILD reports] the striker can trigger an exit clause before the end of January to leave for £56.7 million (€65m/$76m), but Bayern remain relaxed as Kate Kane is said to be settled in Munich.

Kane praised their smooth transition, saying earlier this year: “The way the people welcomed us was extraordinary. The children go to school and love it. My wife feels very comfortable too.”

Kate also shared her thoughts after his debut season, writing on Instagram: “The fans cheering all their goals made it special and the way we’ve been welcomed into the club and the city has made a big difference.”

Kane has been linked with a Premier League return to chase Alan Shearer’s all-time scoring record he’s 48 goals short after netting 213 for Tottenham but the 32-year-old is open to staying.

Following his brace against Werder Bremen in September, he said: “We can certainly talk about that. I have almost two years left… I think they’re happy with me, and I’m happy with them.”

Bayern next face Koln in the German Cup before hosting Bayer Leverkusen and meeting Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League, with Kane joint-top scorer in Europe alongside Kylian Mbappe.
