Nick Woltemade’s sensational form shows no sign of slowing down as the Newcastle United striker netted his first senior international goal for Germany against Northern Ireland.

The 23-year-old opened the scoring with a clever shoulder finish from David Raum’s corner after an early German goal was ruled out for offside.

The strike marked Woltemade’s fourth goal in five matches for both club and country, capping a blistering run since his arrival at St James’ Park.

His latest goal also saw him match a feat once achieved by a former Newcastle favourite further proof that Woltemade clearly has a head for heights.
