Michail Antonio mangled Ferrari has been listed for sale on eBay for £50,000 following the horror crash that nearly claimed his life in December 2024.

The former West Ham and Nottingham Forest forward collided with a tree in Essex while driving home from training, suffering a broken femur in four places. The 34-year-old was trapped inside the wreckage for 45 minutes before being airlifted to hospital for major surgery.

The Ferrari Lusso, which originally cost £260,000, is now being auctioned online as a “spares or repairs” lot. The listing described the vehicle as “unrecovered salvage damage” with “no insurance claim made.”

Antonio said he feels lucky to be alive, recalling: “I don’t remember much. Everybody told me I was awake and speaking. I remember it was windy, it was wet. I had only had the car for three weeks and was considering giving it back because the back kept swinging out. All I know is that I hit a tree.”

He admitted the crash changed his perspective, saying: “I’ve always been a fan of sports cars and old classics. But sports cars are not my friends. Now I have a people carrier and I’m staying far away from sports cars.”

Antonio, who previously crashed his Lamborghini in 2019, has since returned to action with Jamaica after initial fears he might never play again.

Although West Ham released him at the end of the 2024–25 season, he has continued training with Brentford and taken on punditry work with TNT Sports.

Jamaica boss Steve McClaren confirmed: “Michail Antonio has been training with Brentford, doing very well. Unfortunately, he has pulled a calf and will be two or three weeks out. Hopefully something will work out with that.”
