Arsenal have been fined £500,000 by the Football Association after breaching ticket allocation rules during their FA Cup third-round defeat to Manchester United on penalties.
The sanction follows a violation of Rule 192, which requires the home club to comply with any ticket requests made under Rule 191. That rule entitles the away side to up to 15% of a stadium’s maximum capacity.

[The FA confirms] Arsenal failed to meet this requirement, denying Manchester United their full ticket entitlement for the tie.
The Professional Game Board reviewed the matter and issued the £500,000 fine, which has been suspended pending Arsenal conduct in this season FA Cup.
The suspension means the club must comply with all ticketing rules in this year’s competition to avoid paying the penalty.
