Alisha Lehmann says she is “living the dream” after completing her move from Juventus to Como Women, embracing both football and life off the pitch in her new surroundings.

The Switzerland international left Turin in the summer of 2024 after winning the Serie A title and signed a three-year contract with Como. The 26-year-old forward has already scored in pre-season and is preparing for her competitive debut against Lazio in the 2025-26 Serie A opener on Sunday.

Lehmann, one of the most recognisable figures in women’s football with 16.4 million Instagram followers, says the Como project matches her ambition and personality:

“It’s the first time I’ve joined an independent club — not linked to a men’s team. That was an important factor. It shows a different way to approach football.”

“Here, I can grow as a footballer and as a person. I want to help the team compete and inspire the next generation.”

Her new life on Lake Como has been a blend of football and lifestyle, with appearances at Milan Fashion Week, collaborations with Prada and Nike, and a trip to Oktoberfest. “You have to be possessed with the dream,” she posted recently on Instagram.

Lehmann praised Como’s vision: “This is not just a club that wants to win — it’s a project that aims to change the rules of the game. Football, identity, style, and ambition come together in a way I had never seen before.”

With a young but ambitious setup, Como Women aim to become a benchmark in women’s football across Europe. Lehmann looks set to play a leading role in that journey.
