Barcelona have levelled and then taken the lead against Real Oviedo at the Estadio Carlos Tartiere, thanks to goals from Eric Garcia and Robert Lewandowski.
The Catalans fell behind in the first half after goalkeeper Joan Garcia miscontrolled a ball, allowing Alberto Reina to score from 35 yards.
Ten minutes into the second half, Eric Garcia bundled the ball home from a scramble inside the Oviedo penalty area to make it 1-1. Robert Lewandowski, introduced as a substitute, then heads in Frenkie de Jong’s cross to put Barcelona ahead.
Lewandowski had started on the bench in favour of Ferran Torres but is proving decisive for Hansi Flick’s side. Barcelona are now pushing to maintain their advantage and close the gap to La Liga leaders Real Madrid to two points ahead of the Madrid derby this weekend.
Oviedo are still searching for an equaliser as the match progresses.
