Erling Haaland has officially been named among the 30 nominees for the 2025 Men’s Ballon d’Or, following another electrifying season for Manchester City.
The Norwegian powerhouse netted 34 goals and added five assists across all competitions in the 2024/25 campaign, reinforcing his status as one of football’s deadliest strikers.

Haaland burst into the season with a hat-trick against Ipswich and another against West Ham in his first three Premier League games. He racked up seven goals in just three matches, setting the tone for what would become another golden campaign.
Despite fierce competition, Haaland ended the Premier League season with 22 goals, ranking third in the scoring charts. Remarkably, among the top five scorers, he had the fewest goals from penalties, underscoring his open-play dominance.

The winner will be announced on Monday, 22 September 2025 at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris.
