Carlo Ancelotti, Brazil national team coach, has described Vinícius Júnior as “very different” on a personal level when representing Brazil compared to his time at Real Madrid. The comments came in a preview of Universo Valdano, premiering this Friday on Movistar Plus.
Ancelotti discussed his relationship with the player during his time at Real Madrid and now with the Canarinha: “I’ve spoken with him about it. A player has to respect the coach and his teammates. His attitude on the field has improved a lot.”
He added: “Brazilians are very humble, they’re very different. The Vini who comes here is very different from the one at Real Madrid, on a personal level.”
The interview was conducted at the Brazilian Football Confederation’s headquarters near Rio de Janeiro.
