Everton are reportedly pushing to secure Jack Grealish on a permanent deal but at half the price of the agreed £50 million option in his loan contract with Manchester City.
David Moyes’ side brought the 30-year-old to Merseyside on loan, with the purchase clause included as part of the arrangement.
Grealish has shown flashes of renewed form during his spell with the Toffees, though his momentum has been halted by a broken foot that is expected to sideline him for the remainder of the 2025-26 season.
According to I Paper, Everton remain keen to retain the winger but are reluctant to meet the originally agreed valuation.
Instead, the club are hoping to negotiate City down to a £25 million fee — with the report suggesting Grealish’s parent club would be open to discussions.
