Hansi Flick gave another La Masia graduate the chance to shine as Tommy Marquez made his first-team debut in Barcelona’s 3-0 victory over Mallorca.
Reflecting on the moment, Marquez said: “I’m extremely happy and proud. So many emotions went through my mind.
“I’m living an incredible dream, especially making my debut at Camp Nou for the club I’ve loved my whole life,” he added.
“The dream of every kid who starts here is to enjoy, have fun, and learn. I’ve been part of the club for 11 years. It’s an achievement for everyone, and it’s just spectacular. I’m proud and delighted,” Marquez concluded
